Lippincott's Case Management: The Journal for Professional Practice
Editor-in-Chief: Lippincott’s Case Management: The Journal for Professional Practice, started fall 2002
Prior Editor’s Position: Editor, Case Management Society of America (CMSA) Core Curriculum for Case Management
Years as Editor: Since 2003
Years in INANE: Since 2003
Other Position: Director, Acute Care/Quality Improvement Program, Health Services Advisory Group (Arizona’s Quality Improvement Organization, Phoenix, AZ)
Accomplishment: Writing books on case management (have to "edit" them also!)
Best: Working with authors, especially new ones
Worst: When authors don’t answer emails/phone call—and time is of the essence...
Amusing: Some of the typos (or Freudian slips) are a HOOT! Not suitable for publishing
3 words: Reliable, loyal, fun (sounds like a puppy)
Strangest request: The author of a manuscript was from another country and English was not the primary (secondary? tertiary?) language. It reminded me of when voice-activated software first came out.
If not editor?: Write/publish songs/music
Relax?: Ride "Moon", my Welsh Cob Stallion. Play harp/piano; sometimes write a bit of music.
