Which editing accomplishment is the one about which you feel most proud?
Getting the CONJ online! (April 2011)
What is the best thing about being an Editor?
Because I am a member of the Board of the organization that owns the CONJ, the Canadian Association of Nurses in Oncology (CANO) I am able to work with hightly competent nurses of all ages to run CANO
What is the worst thing about being an Editor?
Finding out that an Associate Editor I appointed, is not fulfilling her commitment to the CONJ
Share an amusing story about editing.
Becasue the CONJ is a bilingual journal (English and French) sometimes the French translation of an English phrase can look very funny. Trouble is I can't think of an example at the moment to write down!
Which three words would your colleagues use to describe you?
knowledgeable, practical, sense of humor
What is the strangest request a potential author has ever made of you?
a pharmaceutical company wanted me to write a nursing article to explain the nursing involvement in their product - for nothing!
How do you relax?
I read, swim, sing renaissance music in three choirs.
