Which editing accomplishment is the one about which you feel most proud?  Re-emphasising the caring and multiprofessional ethos of my current journal.

What is the best thing about being an editor? Feeling that you belong to an international community of scholars and that you might, in some small way be able to influence the policy, research and professional agendas in your specialist area whilst helping new talent to develop.

What is the worst thing about being an editor? Complaints, the growing paucity of good reviewers and author reluctance to be involved in the peer review process because it doesn't count towards tenureship or other forms of reward.
