Years as Editor: Since 2008
Years in INANE: Since 2008
Other Position: Professor, Hunter College, City University of New York, 1984-present
Accomplishment: I feel most proud when I am able to collaborate with international and nationally colleagues via the internet and guiding them through the manuscript process.
Best: The best thing about being and editor is knowing that I can change the world by my words. The words I use leave a lasting impression on those that read them.
Worst: The worst thing about being an editor is committing the time and energy to review a manuscript and then realize that the author(s) failed to follow the manuscript guidelines.
Amusing: My most amusing story is working with friends and colleagues who think that my role as editor is so "influential and important." Perhaps, to some extent it is but it is fun to coordinate and assist others to become influential by sharing their expertise and scholarship in a successfully published manuscript.
3 words: Energetic, enthusiastic, and focused.
If not editor?: If I was not an editor I would like be a journalist.
Relax?: Reading novels and the New York Times. Gardening.
