Which editing accomplishment is the one about which you feel most proud?
I can't name just one! As a writer, however, I'm most proud of a book I had published by Writer's Digest Books, Formatting & Submitting Your Manuscript, 2nd edition.
What is the best thing about being an editor?
The challenge of working with different authors and helping them produce their best work.
What is the worst thing about being an editor?
Rejecting manuscripts, especially when I know an author has worked hard and done his or her best but it just doesn't meet our standards.

Organized, flexible, creative
What would you like to do if you were not an editor?
Own an independent bookstore (impossible these days!)
