Which editing accomplishment is the one about which you feel most proud?
Working with the Editorial Board to establish writing awards

What is the best thing about being an editor?
I am proud of the support I can provide to first time authors.

What is the worst thing about being an editor?
My limited expertise in all policy about school nursing. . . that's why we have reviews!

Tell an amusing story about editing.
I don't have a specific story, but I actually find my oversights in editing amusing, and most of all humbling

Which three words would your colleagues use to describe you?
            Enthusiastic, Encouraging, Committed

What is the strangest request a potential author has ever made of you?
I rejected a manuscript that did not meet any of the criteria for significance in the Journal, and the author responded to me, asking to have that judgment validated by reviewers.

How do you relax?
Running, tennis, movies, music (play piano), reading and most of all, time with family.
