Tell an amusing story about editing.
This was an agonizing live-and-learn at the time, but seems funnier now that a decade passed. As a novice state nursing association newsletter editor, I requested clinical practice source material from an author because a relationship to a Joint Commission (JC) survey finding was mentioned. The author repeatedly promised to send the supporting document. With imminent out-of-state travel and a publishing deadline one day prior to the flight, I made a final call requesting the information and was reassured the supporting document was already in the mail. I warily accepted the author's promise that the facts were substantiated and the publication went to print. Several weeks later, after a particularly long managerial day, I returned to my office and retrieved a voicemail message. A gentleman from JC was requesting an immediate call-back ... You can probably guess the rest of the story!

Which three words would your colleagues use to describe you?
Humorous, dependable, process-oriented.

Interior design.

How do you relax?
Travel and explore new places, garden, listen to music, meditate, take walks.
