Amusing: Spelling is always a challenge for me as one of the journals I edit for is based in Australia and many words are spelled differently than in the USA. Now I find that for the two USA based journals, I have to remember to use American spelling. For example, odor vs odour; Brazil vs. Brasil. Even my name is spelled differently—Elizabeth vs. Elisabeth. It helps to keep me oriented to which part of the world I am editing for!
3 words: Excellent, visionary, fun
Strangest request: "Can you edit this article written in Chinese?" Unfortunately, I don’t read, write, or understand Chinese.
If not editor?: Write a best selling novel
Relax: Dance, swim, shop, visit with family, play with the dog, go to the theater
